Ian Farnsworth over at Autoking !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! as Aston Martin will make a road GT3 version of the Vantage to compete with the Porsche 911 GT3 and Bentley Continental GT3-R.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
As to what it will look like, Farnsworth said:
Visually, we can tell that the Vantage GT3 will stand out from the "normal" Vantage thanks to a series of aerodynamic upgrades similar to those fitted to the GT3 racecar. Lots of air vents, cooling ducts, splitters, and spoilers, as well as larger brakes, will likely be included.
Which I guess would mean something like this:
but with a lower wing. That's it.
Also part of the deets/speculation is that the car will be powered by the same V12 as the regular Vantage V12 S, but now has 600 hp.
The real carbon and aluminium won't drop until the Geneva Auto Show, but one thing is certain: My ears are tuned.
*while that's the most likely powerplant, who knows? Though I have to admit, it's about damn time a road-legal race car comes with a V12 from the factory

But Mate said it has a massive wing. Or are they doing low-speed testing?

He confirms that it's the same car. My guess is that the car's aerodynamics package was still being developed.
